Description Right shoe from a pair of black leather Nike baseball cleats. Shoe has rectangles cut into leather on either side, with series of short, raised white lines in each rectangle. Nike logo of curved check mark at back of shoe, at front on outer side, and on bottom. Shoe has black and red laces which do not appear to be original. Sole is rubber and hard plastic with metal screws in cleats.
Provenance The Apopka Little League team won the National Little League Championship in 2001. They lost the 2001 Little League World Series championship game to the Kitasuna Little League team from Tokyo, Japan.

Ryan Markell wore these shoes in the tournament. At the time of the tournament, Markell was 11 years old and attending King of Kings Lutheran School. He played first base.
