Object Name Menu
Date circa 1960
Description Paper menu in front of larger cardstock menu, so that only the top of the large menu is visible, inside clear plastic cover. Front is red, shows chef in white apron and hat, black bow tie, pants, and shoes, arms outstretched; down left, in black: "MENU"; back cover is plain red. Inside top menu is taped at top, both sides, to larger menu; inside is white, with black printing, and lists salads, sandwiches, soups, breakfast items, ice cream, etc..., with prices. At top of each page, center, on the larger menu: "ALBERT... / FOR FINE QUALITY FOOD", with: "SALADS", on the outer left corner, and, on outer right: "BREAKFAST".

Condition Notes Menu has creases throughout, on front and back, esp. down front left side, and bottom; liquid stain at bottom left corner of front. Inside, spine of menu has .625" tear at bottom, and staining; tiny tear and much creasing at top on spine. Back of menu is creased throughout. Plastic cover has numerous stains, accretions, and discolored areas throughout, front and back; area at left inside where printing has transferred to plastic.
