Description Wooden club painted white with a hole drilled through near base. Threaded with thin rope to use as strap. Constructed from a shovel handle.
Provenance Issued during Sheriff Starr's administration and used circa 1969-72 for crowd control. Sheriff Colman had it replaced with 24" black night stick made of wood and later fiberglass.
