The photographs in the WORZ Collection were collected by the station and kept in a scrapbook along with letters and newspaper clippings. A notarized letter in the front of the scrapbook reads:
The year 1951 to 1953 inclusive and to the date of July 7, 1954, the radio stations WORZ-AM and WORZ-FM were affiliated with the National Broadcasting Company, Inc., and that the public service rendered by WORZ-AM and WORZ-FM here following did not include the public service transmitted by WORZ-AM and WORZ-FM from its network, and such states that as such president and chief executive officer, that WORZ-AM and WORZ-FM in addition to the public service here following claims credit for all of the public service fed to it and transmitted by it from the network, and affiant further says that practically all public service by the network was transmitted and broadcast by WORZ-AM and WORZ-FM. Affiant further says that the following is not all of the public service rendered by WORZ-AM and WORZ-FM during said periods, but only such public service as was kept and recorded and placed in the files of said stations, and that the following contains only a portion of the many letters, pictures, clippings and statements all of which are submitted as proof of public service by WORZ-AM and WORZ-FM.
