|Scope & Content||Map is of the counties of Florida from 1855. The map shows the main cities, roads, and railroads. It also shows many bodies of water such as lakes, rivers, swamp land, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Atlantic Ocean. To the north of Florida the surrounding states of Georgia and Alabama are labeled. The counties on this map are in the different colors of either pink, yellow, light green, or orange. On the top right hand corner of the maps is a legend or "explanations." On the bottom left hand corner of the maps is an inset of the Florida Keys. The map is printed on white paper with colored ink. Map is very similar to "Johnson's Florida Map," printed in 1863.|
