Title Constantine Hilchuk Journal and Press Cards
Scope & Content The Constantine Hilchuk Collection contains his World War II journal as a battle photographer. The journal entries pertain to Hilchuk's time stationed in Hawaii (March 21-November 8, 1942). In addition to journal entries there are poems and general philosophical musings. In the back of the journal are Japanese words and there English translations. Including descriptions of how to tell a Japanese and Chinese person apart.

Also, there are six press credential cards for when he worked for WESH Channel 2, the NBC affiliate in Orlando. The credentials are: Channel 2, Greater Orlando Press Club Inc. membership card, President Lyndon B. Johnson's Orlando visit on October 25-26, 1964, an Apollo 12 (November 1969) press pass, and a press pass and photographer's pass to Haydon Burns' inauguration (1965).
