William (Bill) Coleman's 2001 donation has been organized into five series.
Series I, Health: Predominately concerns documents on aging especially documentation relating to the Interim Commission on Aging chaired by the donor. To help his work, he collected many reports by private and public organizations on the problems faced by the over 55s. He also found it necessary to learn about Florida's Sunshine Law, and information on this topic and the Citizen's Review panel may be found in FF1.
Series II, Politics: Campaign and fundraising materials for individual politicians mostly from the 2000 election. The candidates ran for national, state and local offices both in Florida and other states. Coleman was active in the Republican party, and the series contains much information about party fundraising work. Several folders cover the activities of the bi-partisan Tiger Bay Club; Coleman served as president of the club in 1988.
Series III, War: Covers World War II and subsequent related matters. Of special interest in this series is the plan for a proposed Battle of the Bulge World War II memorial in Lake Eola Park.
Series IV, Education: The majority of documents in this series relate to the Orange County Educational Facilities Authority and Rollins College. Most of these materials relate to financial agreements between the two organizations.
Series V, Miscellaneous: Shows the donor's diverse interests. Includes documents relating to the University Club and the Tom Skinner Club and publications such as the "Rudder" and the "Sheriff''s Star". Additionally, Coleman served as vice-president of the 1962 Missile Bowl committee, and a program for the event is held in this series.
