The celebration's theme was "Commemorating a Century of Progress in Central Florida". The pageant was held at Greater Orlando Stadium. After Welcome's by Mayor William Beardall and Attorney James Giles, the program followed 15 scenes, each commemorating a stage or important event in the region's history. There was a prologue, and a list of narrators indicates there were probably introductions before each performance.
